Stela
Character
Please meet amazing, beautiful, brave Stela who has suffered so much while being just a little kitten. Stela is approx 10 months old (as of June 2024) and fully sighted.
She was found abandoned on a parking lot, hiding under the vehicles, while begging for a little food. As she was terrified, it took us a while to gain her confidence and finally get her out of the parking lot.
A local stray cat mom adopted her and she lived together with the other kittens. When she finally adapted to the new environment, she suffered a serious leg fracture. She was immediately taken to the vets where an urgent surgery was performed. Now Stela is a happy, beautiful girl, perfectly recovering and adapting to her new condition.
Fortunately, the nerve was not completely torn, but due to the severity of the injury, Stela will not be able to fully use her front leg and will be partially lame. This does not stop her from playing all the time like any other kitten, full of love and life.
Sadly, this is not enough to return to the street life where she would not be able to run fast enough and protect herself from the dangers that the street brings. Being a female, with a lame leg, the sad truth is that it will be very hard for her to get adopted in Macedonia, so our only hope for her happy ending is to find her a loving home abroad.
She is vaccinated, re-vaccinated, rabies vaccinated and chipped. She will be FiV/FELV tested and she will be neutered soon.
Please consider giving this little fighter a permanent home where she will feel safe and loved. She will give you twice more love and joy in return. In her short life, she has come a long way from the street life full of pain and struggles. Let’s not let her down at this point.
