Friends of BDRUK are companies and organisations that work with us or support our cause.
The Vegan Cakery are long term supporters of BDRUK, regularly featuring us as their charity of the month. They make delicious vegan cakes, pastries and treats, while also raising as much money as possible for a wide variety of animal charities and sanctuaries.
The Animal Team are vital to BDRUK's work, providing home checks for prospective adopters and helping to promote our dogs through their social media channels. Run by volunteers, they really do an amazing job.
My name is Eve and I have a mission to help as many blind dogs and their owners as possible.
I started my journey back in 2020 when my own dog went blind from SARDS. I then adopted the lovely blind boy Jacob from Bosnia through BDRUK over a year ago.
I have studied hard and all the training I advise is positive based, force free and kind. I am qualified with the IMDT, approved with the DTC and the Pet Professional Network, fully insured with pet plan and dog first aid trained. Along side this I am studying with the school of canine science with their behaviour bible and attend other courses hosted online e.g. TTouch.
I set up my business around specifically training blind dogs and have had some amazing feedback from the help I have given over the 2 years. I am not a huge business, I work alone and give as much help as I can for free too.
I would love to be able to benefit the adopters of blind dogs from BDRUK. I offer a monthly online workshop for £30 which is specifically aimed at new owners of blind dogs and I really feel this would help people understand their dogs better.
